OTSC Community Breakfast

On Monday, November 25th, the Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy with Senator Carl Levin hosted a community breakfast to celebrate the project completion and grant awards for our first grant recipients, Two James Spirits and Detroit Institute of Bagels! Detroit Institute of Bagels generously hosted the event, which was attended by more than 50 city dignitaries, OTSC board members and grant recipients, community members, and members of the press. The event included speeches by Senator Carl Levin and Thomas Linn, OTSC President, and check presentations to the Corktown businesses of honor, Two James Spirits and Detroit Institute of Bagels. Together, the development of these businesses reflect over $1,400,000 in investment in Corktown, Detroit’s oldest neighborhood.
